TLF Prep Clubs:
Mathematics, Physics & CS

Explore beautiful mathematics, delve into computer science, develop physical intuition, and strengthen your skills for TLF entrance exams.

  • Ages 14–15
  • Online · in English
  • From October 2026
  • Free to join

Who it’s for

For motivated students aged 14–15 who enjoy challenging mathematics and want a deeper understanding of physics.

For students preparing for the next TLF admissions cycle or simply interested in Math, Physics & CS.

Learn in English

All sessions are held in English. We know it is not the first language of most participants. Building academic English for mathematics and science is one of our goals.

You can choose one or more clubs.

Clubs & schedule

Mathematics Club

Fridays · 16:30 Italy / 17:30 Cyprus

First session — October 2, 2026

  • Beautiful, non-routine problems across algebra and geometry.
  • Written and oral exam tasks typical of TLF selection.
  • From school math to olympiad thinking: strategies, proofs, and clear reasoning.

Session format

A weekly live Zoom session: a short lecture, problem solving, and discussion. Weekly homework via a Telegram bot combines instant checks with feedback from mathematicians.

Physics Club

Sundays · 11:00 Italy / 12:00 Cyprus

First session — October 4, 2026

  • Physical intuition and the core laws of mechanics, thermodynamics, and electricity.
  • Real-world physical scenarios and typical TLF entrance exam problems.
  • Structured problem solving: from understanding a phenomenon to quantitative arguments and calculations.

Session format

A weekly live Zoom session: interactive theory review and guided problem analysis. Weekly homework with targeted feedback helps refine your reasoning and calculations.

Computer Science Club

Schedule & details: TBD

Dates and times will be announced soon.

Beginners: Python + projects

  • Python fundamentals through concise theory blocks.
  • Algorithmic problems in an automatic testing system.
  • Alternate algorithms with LLM-assisted mini-projects to practice real-world thinking.

Advanced: Algorithms + projects

  • Core topics for admissions, competitive programming, engineering, and interviews: graphs, dynamic programming, two pointers, and more.
  • Alternate advanced algorithms with LLM-assisted projects, with deeper scope and rigor.

Session format

Weekly live Zoom sessions: focused theory and guided problem solving. Homework in the testing system and project milestones.

How it works

  • Cadence: one structured online session per week for each selected club. Mathematics and Physics start in October; CS dates will be announced soon.
  • Practice: in-session problem solving and weekly homework.
  • Feedback: instant checks where possible; targeted human feedback where reasoning matters.
  • Tools: Zoom for live classes and dedicated platforms for homework.

Why join

  • Build deep problem-solving habits, beyond memorizing formulas.
  • Learn to explain your reasoning clearly in class, oral exams, and interviews.
  • Strengthen your mathematics, physics and computer science skills in line with TLF expectations.
  • Improve STEM English in a supportive, international setting.
